BJP Indulged in vengeance politics: TDP

Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu today alleged that the central government is indulging in vengeance against the state government for asking to fulfil bifurcation promises.

Addressing the three days TDP Mahanadu which commenced today Chandrababu Naidu said people of Andhra Pradesh has right to demand special category status even Telangana government also supported our demand.

TDP president said the party had alliance with BJP during 2014 elections with a confidence that it will fulfil bifurcation promises of Andhra Pradesh. We came out from NDA realising that BJP is deceiving us, Naidu said.

Criticising the NDA government Chandrababu Naidu alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has passion for propaganda but thinks little about development. TDP has supported BJP when it has taken denomination decision. But the centre has failed to take further measures, he said.

Chandrababu Naidu alleged that BJP is behind the recent controversy involving TTD. BJP is trying to create problems for the state government. The centre is trying to have control on Tirumala temple through archaeological department.

Naidu said workers are soul of the party. We have initiated various welfare programmes for the party like setting up of NTR memorial school for providing education to children’s of the party workers.

TDP has 60 lakh workers in Andhra Pradesh while 10 lakh in Telangana state, Naidu said adding that TDP is a disciplined party and it was the only party to develop Navyandhra.(NSS)
