BJP hopes to win 280 LS seats

BJP Delhi unit President and MLA Dr Harshvardhan on Sunday expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party would cross the magic figure of 272 seats. He said that the BJP would win over 280 seats in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing a meeting of North Indians living in the city here, Dr Harshavardhan appealed to the people to vote in favour of BJP and TDP candidates to bring back the rule of BJP-led National Democratic Alliance at the Centre. He said the entire infrastructure and vast network of educational institutions was created during the NDA’s regime although the Congress party was trying to take credit for the same. He asked people to vote in favour of BJP to make Narendra Modi the next Prime Minister of India.

Speaking on the occasion, BJP Secunderabad candidate Bandaru Dattatreyya said that the BJP has allied with the TDP to prevent split of votes for development. He expressed confidence that the TDP-BJP combine would win over 14 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana region.

Dr Sanjay welcomed the gathering while several senior leaders of BJP participated in the programme. (INN)
