Hyderabad, September 17: Bharatiya Janata Party Floor Leader Bangari Prakash on Thursday demanded for the dissolution of standing committee of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation as it is not addressing the problems of people.

Though Mayor has powers to order GHMC Commissioner to attend the Standing Committee meeting, she is not doing so, he pointed out.

Meanwhile Telugu Desam Floor Leader Singireddy Srinivas Reddy stated that the Mayor has powers to solve the problems of members by allotting a separate chamber for the Standing committee.
He alleged that the Mayor was intentionally neglecting the demands of standing committee members.
