(Siasat News)Bharatiya Janata Party’s biggest dilemma today is Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi’s categorical demand that he be declared the party’s prime ministerial candidate for 2014.
Barely two months ahead of the assembly elections due in December 2012, Modi’s secularism will tested again during the Eid-ul-Zuha festival.
In the recent meeting with influential Muslims from Mumbai and Ahmedabad,Modi asked “which was the biggest massacre of Muslim in India?”,the group started thinking the answer for his question,he then told that it was Nellie in Assam,then he asked “who was the Chief Minister at that time?”, again the group was unable to answer, then he asked what happened to the Nellie inquiry,the group said no inquiry was ever tabled,nobody was prosecuted in that incident.Nellie issue will be probably going to be a weapon for MINA(Modi is not acceptable).
