Hyderabad, October 04: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Bandaru Dattatreya today demanded the state government to release a white paper on the present power situation in the state. Talking to mediapersons here, Mr Dattatreya criticised the state government for its failure to supply adequate power to farmers. Mr Dattatreya questioned the state government as why it did not take steps to overcome the power crisis although the employees from the department had served strike notice in advance. Replying to a question about stoning of buses allegedly by Telangana activists in Nalgonda district, the former Union Minister said his party would not support violence at any cost. He appealed to all Telangana activists to continue the agitation in a peaceful manner. He took objection over Prime Minister Manmohan Singh s response on the Telangana state when the pro-Telanagna leaders called on him at New Delhi yesterday for getting an early decision from him on the issue.
