BJP demands resignation of three more ministers

Bhubaneswar, February 06:A day after ruling BJD’s women wing chief Pramila Mallik resigned from Naveen Patnaik cabinet over multi-crore Dal scam, opposition BJP today demanded resignation of three other ministers accusing them of being involved in other irregularities.

“We demand resignation of Urban Development Minister Badri Narayan Patra, School and Mass Education Minister Pratap Jena and Steel and Mines Minister, Raghunath Mohanty,” said BJP’s state President Jual Oram.

While Patra and Jena were accused of being part of the coal scam over which the entire third session of the 14th assembly remained paralaysed, Mohanty’s name was being taken by opposition parties over the mining scam.

In both the cases, state vigilance was probing the allegations.

Maiontaining that BJP was not satisfied with Mallik’s resignation, Oram said “Naveen Patnaik should learn from the dalit woman leader (Pramila) and take moral responsibility.
