The GHMC Corporators of Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday met City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma and other officials requesting them to take steps to stop illegal cow slaughtering in the limits of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
The corporators including floor leader Bangari Prakash, K Sahadev Yadav, Ale Jitendra and Devara Karunakar met Anurag Sharma, Transport Commissioner G Anantharam and Joint Transport Commissioner Raghunath requesting them to ensure coordination and support from all the departments in stopping the illegal cow slaughtering in the GHMC limits. They requested the officials to set up check posts at all the major roads and highways leading to the GHMC to stop the illegal trafficking of cow. (INN)
