Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy today said his party would contest for Medak Lok Sabha seat.
Speaking to mediapersons after addressing Telangana State unit office-bearers’ meeting, Kishan Reddy said the party would take necessary steps to strengthen the party in the State, he said and warned that action would be taken against those who worked against the party in the elections.
On the issue of tuition fees reimbursement to the students, BJP president said if necessary, chief ministers of both States should sit together and a take a final decision in this regard. There should not be any condition for reimbursement of tuition fees to students and not to play with the lives of students, he advised.
In the meeting of Telangana BJP unit, the party leaders reviewed the election results as it could not expect results though the party contributed much in creation of new Telangana State. The meeting also discussed future course of action plan to strengthen the party. (NSS)
