BJP condemns Delhi budget

New Delhi, March 23: BJP today condemned the Delhi government budget, saying both the Centre and the state had raised prices in the name of the forthcoming Commonwealth Games and demanded a stop to this “onslaught against the aam admi” by rolling back the increase.

“It seems the Congress has waged a war against the people and is giving a new ‘gift’ of price rise everyday….While people are reeling under price rise, Congress continues its onslaught against the aam admi….First, it was central budget and now it is state budget,” BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said.

He accused the Centre and Delhi government of increasing prices to meet the expenses of Commonwealth Games 2010.

“Both Centre and Delhi government are saying prices have been increased due to the international games.
