Bharatiya Janata Party today complained to Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Bhanwar Lal against TV Channel T News and Namaste Telangana daily news paper for indulging in slander and defamatory writings against BJP every day in the name of articles, news reporting and columns. In a complaint to the ECO, copy of which was released to the media here, state General Secretary N Ramachander Rao said the Channel and news paper were giving an impression that the Parkala Assembly Constituency was only for TRS which had winning chances and the BJP did not have any chance.
Similarly the electronic media T news which was TRS party channel was also telecasting cooked up stories against the BJP, it alleged. In another complaint, Mr Rao said that it was learnt that electoral list pertaining to Parkal assembly segment was containing some irregularities such as the photos printed against male voters belonged to female voter and vice versa. Mr Rao requested the CEO to take necessary action against their complaints. UNI
