BJP committed to T state, repeats venkaiah

BJP national leader M Venkaiah Naidu today reiterated that his party was committed to bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Participating in a dharna organized by Seemandhra BJP leaders at Jantar Mantar here on Monday, Naidu demanded that the Centre solve the problems and concerns of Seemandhra people that might arise after bifurcation of the State.

“BJP is committed for division of the State. We are in favour of creation of the new State of Telangana. At the same time, the BJP will stand by the Seemandhra people over their problems. The bill brought by the Congress government is not comprehensive and does not address the concerns of people of different regions”, he added

Even Telangana people too have some apprehension in Telangana draft bill as it was not comprehensive and needed some amendments, he said. He said the Centre should declare in the bill a new capital for Telangana, 10-year tax holiday to woo industrialists for establishing their units and upgradation of Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati airports into international airports.
