BJP committed for development of Telangana: Amit Shah

BJP National President Amit Shah said that the BJP Government at the Centre was committed for the development of Telangana State.

 Speaking after unveiling the statue of Deen Dayal Upadhyay in Velugupally of Nalgonda district on Tuesday, Amit Shah claimed that the Central Government was releasing Rs. 20,000 crore for Telangana State every year. He said that the Centre was ready to release more funds. He said the Modi Government was implementing 107 schemes for the welfare of various sections of the society. He said proper implementation of these schemes would ensure development of all villages like Velugupally.

 Amit Shah said that the BJP Government has introduced several new schemes for the welfare of Dalits, Girijans and women. He asked them to benefit from those schemes.

 The BJP chief also felicitated local sarpanch Bhagyamma who ensured effective implementation of Jan Dhan Yojna, Fasal Bima Yojna and other schemes in her village. He said Bhagyamma has proved that women could play an active role in development process if they are right opportunities.

 BJP National General Secretary Muralidhar Rao, Telangana unit President Dr. K. Lakshman, floor leader G. Kishan Reddy and other senior leaders were also present on the occasion.  (INN)
