BJP brings disgrace to Indian Army calls it ‘Modi’s Sena’

Lucknow: UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s controversial statement referring Indian Army as ‘Modi’s Sena’ has received severe backlash from opposition political parties.

While addressing a rally in Ghaziabad, Adityanath reported stated: “Congress ke log aatankvadiyon ko biryani khilate the aur Modi ji ki sena aatankvadiyon ko goli aur gola deti hai (Congress fed terrorists biryani while Modi’s army feeds them bullets and bombs),” News18 reports.

Well this statement became controversial as Indian Army does not belong to political Ministers but is here for a very strong purpose to serve the nation and to protect its people.

The opposition has earlier claimed the Modi government is trying to politicize the air strikes ahead of elections to improve their vote bank and now with Yogi’s statement those claims are being proved right.

Slamming Yogi for his controversial statement, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said “such blatant personalisation and surping of our beloved Indian Army is an insult and a humiliation”.

“We are proud of our Army. They belong to all. They are a great asset of our nation, and not a cassette of the BJP. People of this country must stand up and reject this statement.”

Meanwhile opposition party Congress’s Priyanka Chaturvedi had also called the statement an “insult to our armed forces”.
