BJP blames UPA for the economic crisis

BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday slammed the UPA Government at the Centre for pushing the country in economic crisis with its faulty decisions.

Talking to media persons after participating in the inauguration of Swashakthi building and launching of free medical services at Srinagar Colony near Yousufguda, Venkaiah Naidu accused the UPA Government -II of being responsible for manifold increase in corruption and scams in the country during its three year’s tenure. Stating that the government has failed on all fronts, Naidu said that the country has landed in financial crisis due to adoption of wrong policies, which led to the fall in the value of rupee.

Venkaiah Naidu said that both infrastructure sector and construction and building industry have suffered a major damage due to decisions of UPA government. He also said that industrial production and agriculture output too have come down drastically.

Responding to a question, Naidu said that the BJP has not taken any decision over the candidature of Presidential elections to be held in July. He predicted that the country would witness mid-term elections at any time and asked the party cadre to gear up for the same.

BJP state president G Kishan Reddy said that BJP candidate for the by-election of Parkal Assembly Constituency would be announced on May 21. (INN)
