Rajya Sabha member and senior Congress leader of Telangana V Hanumantha Rao has said that anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare was contemplating to launch a political party for gains.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Hanumantha Rao has expressed doubts that the BJP might be behind this new political development. Alleging that BJP was using Hazare as a pawn to wrest power at the Centre, Rao said that the Congress alone had strength to check corruption in the nation. He said that the present Congress government has already sent the corrupt to the jail. (NSS)
