BJP asks Cong to spell out roadmap

New Delhi, December 11: BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu asserted that his party was in favour of smaller states and asked the Centre to be clear on the roadmap to carve out Telangana from Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu said the BJP welcomed the move, but wanted the Congress and the Centre to take Parliament into confidence since it was in session. He said the Congress took the decision on the formation of Telangana after being compelled by circumstances.

“The Congress has not done enough homework and failed to even take its own MPs and MLAs into confidence.”
