BJP national leader Prakash Javadekar has alleged that the Congress was deceiving the Telangana people for the last 50 years.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Javadekar, who arrived here to participate in an election campaign in Parakala constituency on behalf of the party candidate Dr Vijaychander Reddy, said that both the Congress and TRS were deceiving the Telangana people by making tall statements. Separate Telangana State would not be possible by the TRS which has only two MPs. He said that the BJP will mount pressure on the Centre to make it to introduce the Telangana Bill in the coming Parliament session scheduled start from July 1.
He said that his party was not like the Congress which says something and does quite opposite. BJP has the history of creating three States during the erstwhile NDA regime. The party was committed to create separate Telangana State if it came to power. (NSS)
