BJP activists Burn Shinde In Effigy All Over T Region

The Bharatiya Janata Party activists on Friday held demonstrations, rallies and burnt effigies of Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde all over Telangana districts in protest against “deceiving” the people of Telangana. It may be mentioned here that Sushil Kumar Shinde had assured after the all-party meet that a decision on formation of separate Telangana will be announced within a month.
BJP activists, led by former Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya and BJP Greater Hyderabad unit president B.Venkat Reddy, held a “Shava yatra” of Sushil Kumar Shinde at Narayanguda in Hyderabad and participated in effigy burning.
Speaking on the occasion, Bandaru Dattatraya said the Union Home Minister once again declared that still consultations are in process and some more time was needed to take a decision on Telangana. Who does he want to consult now even after one of the major partners of UPA, NCP led by Sharad Pawar told the Prime Minister not to delay formation of Telangana State any longer because UPA-I government had taken a decision in this regard and even President of India mentioned in his address to the Joint Parliament session. “It is shameless for the Prime Minister to state that the issue is very sensitive and the Congress has not taken any decision on the issue”. This shows the Congress party was deceiving the people on pretext of holding discussions with its constituents, he added.
Dattatraya said the Congress is like a Navtanki party and its MPs submitted resignations to party chief Sonia Gandhi under the format of Speakers proforma. Instead, they should have sent their resignations directly to the Lok Sabha Speaker than to their party supremo Sonia Gandhi, who is the main culprit and number one villain. “The people of Telangana will not like these dramas. How long the Congress MPs will enact such dramas? BJP demands that if the Congress and Sonia Gandhi are sincere for formation of Telangana State, they should come out with Telangana Bill in the forthcoming Budget Session of Parliament and the BJP-led NDA along with 165 MPs would support the Bill in Parliament and people will get sigh of relief peacefully.
