Bharatiya Janata Party national secretary Dr K Laxman on Saturday accused Telangana Rashtra Samithi of mounting pressure on Telangana Political Joint Action Committee to get its support in the by-election in Parkal Assembly constituency.
Talking to media persons at the party office at Nampally, Dr Laxman said that the TRS has been mounting pressure on JAC as it suffered defeat in the Mahbubnagar by-elections in the hands of BJP. If the TRS wins from Parkal constituency, he said that the Telangana sentiment would suffer major injustice.
Stating that the Telangana State formation was not possible with TRS, he called upon the electorate to vote in favour of national party BJP in the elections. He said that the BJP was making concrete efforts at the national level to ensure the formation of Telangana State. He said that the electorate should support the BJP in the Parkal constituency at this juncture and open the eyes of the Congress. (INN)
