Hyderabad, October 07 (Siasat News): Birthday celebration of Nawab Mir Barkat Ali Khan Mukarram Jah Bahadur Asif Jah samin was organized by Mukarram Jah Education Trust. Mr. Jannat Husain IAS state chief information commissioner participated the occasion as chief quest.
Maulana Syed Qubool Pasha Shutari, Justice Sardar Ali Khan, M.A.Basith ex DGP, prof. Neerada Reddy and others were present on the occasion.
Mir Kamaluddin Ali Khan, secretary, Mukarram Jah Trust welcomed the gathering and presented a report on the performance of trust.
Addressing the function held at Masarath Mahal in Purani Haveli Mr. Jannat Hussain appealed the Mukarram Jah Trust to open more schools in the city and reach out to the districts. He decried the present levels of literacy in the State and urged for participation of civic societies and NGOs in improving the conditions.
Justice Sardar Ali Khan praised Mukarram Jah’s commitment to promotion of education.
Students and staff of Mukarram Jah high school were conferred with awards for their better performance.
