Mumbai, September 01: Bollywood Bombshell, Bipasha Basu was having a gala time shooting for high-octane deep sea action scenes in Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maaro Dum.
However, the actress’ excitement was cut short when ceaseless rains and unhygienic water forced to halt her driving classes.
Bips has fallen extremely ill and had to opt out of her schedule for the time being.
She had earlier been training along with Anees in the deep end of a swimming pool at a club in Bandra.
The actress says, “First, they stopped because I picked up a severe infection from swimming in the pool and fell ill for 10 days. I ran a fever and couldn’t get out of bed as I was feeling very weak. And now, the crazy rains have stopped my diving lessons. Everything depends on the weather conditions.”
Bipasha was supposed to leave for Maldives for more rigorous lessons after finishing up her Mumbai schedule.
Bips adds, “Now even that depends on the climatic conditions. Everything is on halt because of the weather. I was to leave for Maldives by this time for an open diving and scuba diving course. I need to do that for Rohan’s Dum Maaro Dum but to shoot underwater, you need to do a certified diving course with a trainer. Then I can dive in any part of the world. It’s an international diving license and I was going to Maldives as it is close by and I have never been there before.”
To add to Bipasha’s miseries, her new terrace apartment in Bandra has been affected by the non-stop rains.
She says, “My false ceiling keeps leaking and water comes into my bedroom. Work has come to a standstill as we are waiting for the leakage to stop. Nobody has a clue as to why it has been leaking incessantly for the last three months. I am so fed up, half the times I don’t stay here.”
Well, we do hope that Bipasha will soon come out of the gloomy situation and be her normal self again.
