Biometric system to be implemented in 6000 schools from next year

Hyderabad:  Dy. CM of Telangana State, Mr. K. Sri Hari told that biometric system would be implemented in 6000 schools in the State from the next year. He also told that 29 GVB schools for boys and girls would be started next year for which sanction has already been given to provide infrastructural facilities.

 

Mr. K. Sri Hari held a review meeting of the officials of the Dept. of Education yesterday in Secretariat. Plans were finalized for getting more funds from Central Govt. He also said that the reformations in education system are yielding positive results. Central Govt. released Rs. 300 crore for Surva Shiksha Abhyan (SSA) and Rs. 110 crore for Rashtriya Madhyamika Shiksha Abhyan (RMSA). Govt. is ready to start new schools as per the demands. He impressed upon the needs to get more funds from the Center.

 

One worker will be appointed for maintaining cleanliness in every school for every 100 students. Every school will be given Rs. 20000 for maintaining cleanliness.
