A city based Artist and Jewellery designer Abhinandana has said that she would organize Bio-Jewellery Exhibition at Shilparam on October 9 between 10 am and 5 pm.
Speaking to the media persons here, Abhinandana said that she has designed 4,000 lockets, with portraits of political leaders, film actors, plants, birds and animals. She said that 8000 delegates from 193 countries are attending the Bio-diversity summit from October 1 to 19 at Hitex in the city. She said that she would present the political leaders and scientists the lockets which enshrine the need to protect the environment in the country to protect bio-diversity.
She hoped that the concepts of the locket which enshrines the need of protection of nature of the life on the plant and at least the message will pass to many countries. The concept could be understood with much of its ideological frame work brought into the conference.
She appealed to the citizens to take the responsibility to protect the Bio-diversity. She said that the Central and the state governments have to take steps to protect environment and bio-diversity in the country. (NSS)
