Hyderabad: Union minister of state for external affairs V K Singh faced an embarrassing situation at the first MEA-State Outreach Programme held in the city on Saturday, when had to greet an `uninvited guest’. The guest was none other than MIM leader and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
As reported by the Times of India, Singh acknowledged Owaisi’s presence and welcomed him but during tea break, the MIM leader gave vent to his feelings with the organisers.
Owaisi is said to have told Singh that he was unhappy as they did not invite him for the event. However, he made it a point to come so that he could give some suggestions that he had in mind for the benefit of the people.
