Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia on Friday appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a drug case.
Majithia, who is the younger brother of Union Food Processing Industries Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal and brother-in-law of Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal, had been summoned by the ED earlier this week to probe his alleged role in the Rs 6,000 crore drug case.
The Congress party had subsequently demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the matter.
