Motihari: One of the accused in the Motihari gang-rape case was on Friday arrested by the local police.It is reported that Samiullah, who is the main accused, has been arrested from the Kachheri road of the district.
The girl was allegedly gang-raped yesterday by five men in Bihar`s Motihari district after she lodged a formal protest against the molestation attempt on part of one of the accused.
The victim was going to defecate in the field when Samiullah molested her and made a video clip of the same.The victim had narrated the incident to her mother, who went to the residence of the accused to lodge a formal protest in this regard.
However, the woes for the victim`s family continued as they were instead insulted by the family members of the accused, who refused to pay heed to their plight.
Offended by the allegations levelled by the victim`s mother, the accused along with his four male family members namely- Aliullah, Javiullah, Smrullah, Klimullah and Nurullah barged into the victim`s house, dragged her out and eventually gang-raped her.
During the heinous crime, the accused also forced a homemade gun and wooden sticks inside her private parts after which the girl collapsed. The accused later left the girl naked on the road side assuming that she was dead.
The victim later gained conscious and called for help following which the cops on patrolling duty got her admitted to a primary health Centre from where she was referred to Motihari Sadar Hospital.
