TRS MP K. Kavitha on Monday said that the results of Bihar Assembly elections should serve as an eye-opener for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking to media persons at her residence in Nizamabad, Kavitha said that the people of Bihar have rejected atmosphere of intolerance and communalism. She said that the people of Bihar have emerged victorious in the elections. Criticising Modi, she said it was wrong to announce special package for a State at the time of elections.
Kavitha also accused Modi of discriminating Telangana. She said that the Centre has been giving approvals and funds for several projects for Andhra Pradesh while completely neglecting Telangana. However, the Centre has remained inert to several representations made by the Telangana Government seeking assistance. She said that the process of division of High Court and employees was not yet completed by the Centre. (INN)
