Patna, January 12: Unemployed youths of Bihar should be doled out by the state government and provided loans by commercial banks so that they can set up small units, NCP General Secretary Tariq Anwar said today.
The bank loans should be given at a rate of four per cent, he told newsmen here.
The Nitish Kumar government, which “harps” on development with social justice should take a policy decision of paying Rs 1000 per month as “unemployment allowance” to the youths along the lines of schemes of the Harayana and Uttar Pradesh government, he said.
During the Congress regime, the unemployed youths of Bihar were paid allowance at the rate of Rs 250 per month which was during the RJD rule in the state.
