Bihar election results: A lesson for those who violate promises – Zahid Ali Khan

Hyderabad: Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily told that although he is addressing a gathering at Nalgonda, his voice reaches to Warangal through Siasat Urdu Daily. The election results of Bihar are a lesson to those who violate promises. If TRS Govt. is serious about providing 12% reservation for Muslims, it should fulfill its promise by constituting BCs Commission instead of wasting time on Sudheer Committee. The struggle of Siasat Urdu Daily would continue till it achieves success. He thanked the Muslims of Nalgonda for supporting the campaign launched by Siasat Urdu Daily for providing 12% reservations for Muslims. He was addressing a large gathering at SR Function Hall, Nalgonda organized by Siasat Urdu Daily and Bahadur Khan Hostel.

Mr. Zahid Ali Khan further told that TRS made a promise in its election manifesto that it would provide 12% reservations for Muslims. The Muslims trusted the TRS, but no action has been taken in this regard. Siasat Urdu Daily waited for a year and thought that CM would fulfill his promise. When Govt. constituted Sudheer Committee instead of forming BCs Commission, Siasat Urdu Daily decided to present representations to Govt. officials, peoples’ representatives and others in all the Telangana Districts in a democratic way. He further told that by getting 12% reservations for Muslims, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily, Mr. Amer Ali Khan or his children will not get any benefit. Despite this, campaign is being organized in all the district of Telangana to create awareness among the Muslims. He also told that he expresses his gratitude for the Muslims and all those organizations who are cooperating to strengthen this movement.

Mr. Zahid Ali Khan mentioned that CM of Telangana, Mr. KCR had made a promise that he would provide 12% reservations for Muslims within 4 months of his assuming charge but even after the lapse of 17 months nothing has been done to fulfill this promise. Govt. has announced to recruit 1.60 lakh candidates against various vacant posts. If this process is completed without providing 12% reservations for Muslims, Muslims would be deprived of 15000 vacancies. In the field of education also, Muslim students would be put to a major loss. This movement is neither in favor of anybody nor against someone. It is being organized to remind the Muslims of their rights. People won’t forgive those who violate their promises or deceive the people.

Narendra Modi had made many promises to the people of India. He even announced a special package of Rs. 1.25 lakh crore for the people of Bihar but the people of Bihar rejected Modi and his package. In Warangal, Lok Sabha by-election is being held. He is addressing in Nalgonda but his voice would reach Warangal through Siasat Urdu Daily. Mr. Zahid Ali further told that Siasat Urdu Daily played an unforgettable role in Telangana Movement. When the intelligence report of Majlis not being part of Telangana Movement and its opposition reached the Central Govt., he jumped into Telangana Movement just to save the Muslims from getting the label of the traitors of Telangana. He also told that the Muslims of Telangana are backward in the fields of Education and Employment. It is the need of the hour that they get reservation in Education and Jobs in order to march shoulder to shoulder along with the other compatriots. The Muslims have ruled this country for centuries. We should not be happy with the past but we should prepare the strategy for the future in order to make the future of our children bright.

Highlighting the welfare activities of Siasat Urdu Daily, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan applauded the efforts of the girls for getting higher education. He declared that Siasat Urdu Daily will never compromise on the issues pertaining to the Muslims and it would continue its struggle for getting their rights.
