Biggest misconceptions about single people revealed

Have you ever thought of single people being lonely, miserable and secretly wishing to be coupled up?

To beat these beliefs about single life, Huffington Post compiled a list of the most outrageous examples, which were offered by their Twitter and Facebook followers.

One Joanne Gruber-Levien gave the first misconception, saying that she wasn’t getting “any”.

Another, David Hartland wrote that single people are believed to be desperate.

A Tracy Sacks explained that she hated being judged during her single days and was once told that she was very secure even though she didn’t have a boyfriend.

One Sandy Weiner wrote that being single is said to be a disease to be cured.

Charlene Hennika said that just because she is not dating, doesn’t mean she’s lonely.

While, Maya Perez said that being without a partner is thought as being lonely, fragile and independent. (ANI)
