Hyderabad, May 31: Though the wedding is happening in Hyderabad, the excitement of it is no less in Mumbai as well. We are talking about the marriage of Mallika, the granddaughter of industrialist GV Krishna Reddy to Siddharth Reddy. Their engagement ceremonysaw actor Katrina Kaif groove to Sheila Ki Jawani and actor Akshay Kumar do some daredevil stunts.
A source confirmed that special chartered flights are leaving for Mumbai airport which will be ferryingthe guests for the wedding which is slated to happen on June 11.
“The chartered flights are departing from Mumbai (for Hyderabad) at 10.15 am (for the marriage) and 3 pm (for the reception). Flights are also being arranged from Delhi,” says a source, quoting from an email that has gone out from the RSVP team of the wedding.
Sources also say that actor Salman Khan, biz honcho Mukesh Ambani and actors Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan are going to be the special guests for the wedding. “We know that Salman and Abhi-Ash have been invited for the wedding.Most of the leading industrialists from Mumbai have been invited that they will be coming too,” the source adds, most of the five-star hotels in the city have been booked and a fleet of super-luxury cars have been commissioned to ferry the guests Shamshabad airport to the wedding venue. The event is expected to be attended by a host of Union ministers, corporate honchos and Bollywood celebrities besides the state chief minister and his Cabinet colleagues. Mallika’s maternal grandfather issenior Congress leader and former Union Minister T Subbarami Reddy.
“We are quite excited as we have heard that Hema Malini will be putting up a Bharatnatyam for the marriage ceremony,” the source ends.
