Sangareddy (Medak), January 1: The Telangana Political JAC convenor, Prof. Kodandaram, has said that an action plan regarding achievement of the decades-long dream of Telangana State would begin tonight. He said that they would organise massive rallies in all villages of the region by lighting candles and welcome the New Year by declaring as the Year of Telangana.
Prof. Kodandaram was speaking at a meeting organised under the aegis of Educationists Forum here on Friday. Revealing about the action plan, he called upon the people of the region to pass resolutions for Telangana State in the next four days beginning Saturday. He also said that they would organise agitations in all mandal headquarters on January 5 and submit memoranda to the officials concerned for Telangana State.
Stating that they have nothing to do with the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee report, Prof. Kodandaram said that they would continue their movement until a Bill for Telangana State was tabled in Parliament. He also appealed to the students not to commit suicides for separate State.
