CPI senior leader Dr K Narayana has lamented that the people were facing severe hardships due to the demonetisation of big notes. The CPI activists staged a dharna before the Anantapur SBI main branch here on Friday.
Addressing the gathering, Narayana alleged that the demonetisation of big notes was leaked to big businessmen much before the announcement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He warned that the CPI would stage agitations on November 28 against the Centre for its demonetisation decision. (NSS)
