New Delhi : Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is gearing up for the release of biopic ‘Sarbjit, feels that her father-in law Amitabh Bachchan truly deserves his National Award for ‘Piku.’
Talking about Amitabh’s win, the 42-year-old actress said, “It’s not the first time and I am very proud that Paa has won his National award yet again.”
“I feel every performance of him deserves to be celebrated by the audience and members of the media. I thank you for all the love. Thank you for all the congratulatory messages. We love Paa and god bless him for entertaining us,” she added.
Notably, the 73-year-old actor has won numerous accolades in his career, including four National Film Awards as Best Actor and many awards at international film festivals and award ceremonies.
The ‘Jazbaa’ actress was spotted at the L’Oreal Women of Worth awards 2016 in Mumbai.
Others who graced the event included Sonam Kapoor, Katrina Kalf, Mandira Bedi and ad guru Pralad Kakkar.
