Big B cares, worries about grandkids

Mumbai, June 18: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan feels exhilarated when among his grandchildren but calls their junk food habit and brief vocabulary as a freak of nature in their generation.

Mr Bachchan, in his blog posted today, talked about his happiness after visiting his grandchildren — his daughter Sweta’s kids — in London and said if one visits their grandkids even after a gap of couple of days they seemed thinner and taller and their vocabulary really brief.

”What is it about grandchildren that lighten up your countenance no matter what your condition may be. And even when there is just a gap of only a few days, one always finds that they have grown taller and thinner, and then you worry. Not eating well, not looking after themselves, eating junk food and so on… The vocabulary of this generation is so.. brief!” Big B wrote in his blog.

The Bollywood icon also gave an example of their urban lingo — Nana.. aaaa! chill!! Enjoying the pleasant company with his grandkids, the thespian said time spent with them was like living entire life again from the beginning. In a bid to imbibe morals and manners in his grandkids, Mr Bachchan teaches them about life, good habits, thoughts, opinions and behaviour. He encourages and guides them what was right and wrong. He also drives them to caution and safety.

”Guess this must be the talk in every home and we are no different,” the superstar wrote.
