BIE mulls over separate exam schedule for Telangana

Hyderabad, February 28: It is being considered to keep a separate examination schedule for intermediate students of Telangana region in order to prevent any kind of obstruction due to ongoing Telangana agitation.

Officials of Board of Intermediate Education have decided to take steps on the lines of SSC board which had conducted exams in Hyderabad and Rangareddy in April 2010. Three exams were conducted separately due to curfew in the old city area.

Officials of board of intermediate education are reflecting over various alternatives so that examinations are concluded within scheduled time as TJAC has decided to intensify the movement for separate state from March 1 while as per previous schedule intermediate exams would be conducted between March 7 and 25.

TJAC has chalked out continuous programs which include indefinite government workers’ strike from March 6 and Million March on March 10.
