Hyderabad, February 4: The activists and leaders of the Telugu Desam and Left parties jointly demonstrated at the Ranga Reddy district Collectorate here on Thursday in protest against the spiraling prices of essential commodities, petrol and diesel.
The protestors descended at the Collectorate in the morning and raised slogans against the government for failing to control price rise. When they tried to gatecrash into the Collectorate, the alert police personnel foiled their attempt resulting in jostling between the cops and protestors. Tension prevailed at the Collectorate for some time.
