Hyderabad, September 16: A Muslim woman has transformed the whole Hasannagar area into Gudumba Khana. A Muslim woman named Bibi Packet resident of Mahmood nagar has been selling gudumba for the past 12 years and making the elders, youth and even children habituated to drinking. This woman is becoming a head ache for the respectable Muslims of the area. Due to rising business of the woman the lane where the woman resides is named as Bibi packet.
Every one had the habit of taking gudumba in the family in which Bibi packet was born. She used to fetch gudumba for them this way she was herself associated with gudumba business. It is said that mamool is given from the low level to the high level hence the business is boldly carried out.
This business is being spread by a network of youth. Several houses of Hasan nagar have been ruined due to this business. Local poor Muslim women have to say that their husbands and children earn the money with hard work during the day and spend it at the home of Bibi packet on their way back home.
Bibi Packet has a strange and interesting way of delivering gudumba packet. The gudumba packets are filled in a sack and the sack is dropped with the help of a rope at the shore of Miralam tank a boy sits there holding the rope. Whenever any customer comes there he pulls the rope and gives him a packet of gudumba at the cost of 10 rupess. It should be noted that Hasan nagar is purely predominated by Muslims.
