Bi-Cycles used in Dilsukhnagar blasts were assembled,re-painted: Police

The Cyberabad police investigating the Dilsukhnagar bomb blast case today released the picture of the cycle that was used in causing the blast. The Commissioner of Police Cyberabad Ch.D.Tirumal Rao said that the bicycles used in the bomb blasts were assembled.

He said that an appeal is being made to the public, especially second hand bicycle vendors and rental agents to pass on information to help police in detection of the recent Dilsukhnagar bomb blast case.

As the rear portion of the bicycle has got almost totally damaged and the front portion of the bicycle is available, it can be concluded that the explosive charge might have been fixed on the bicycle carriage.The entire bicycle is repainted with spray

According to the details of the cycle used in the bomb blast near Konark theatre has the Main Frame, Handle Bar, Bumpers and Fork belongs to original Atlas make appears to be very old. Therefore the main skeleton bicycle is of Atlas make,while Front Rim is of old Usha top make, front Tyre is of Ganga make manufactured in the month of April 2012 (thickness of the tyre is 8 ply). The make of front Tube is of Gamra (Ganga), manufactured in the month of October 2012.

The police also appealed Public, mechanics, second hand bicycle vendors are requested to come out voluntarily to furnish the clues from where the bicycles were purchased by the offenders.
