Bhutan Foreign Minister arrives in Delhi on weeklong visit

New Delhi: Bhutan’s Foreign Minister, Mr. Damcho Dorji, arrived in Indian capital New Delhi on Thursday on a weeklong visit.

Mr. Dorji was received in the ceremonial lounge of Terminal-3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport soon after his arrival at 12.55 p.m., a Ministry of External Affairs release said.

During his stay in India, he has a packed schedule.

On Friday (October 23), he will depart for Indore, Madhya Pradesh at 9.45 a.m., where he is scheduled to address the Dharma Dhamma Conference at the Brilliant Convention Centre on Saturday.

He will spend three days in Indore and will return to the Indian capital on Sunday or Monday.

On Monday (October 26), he will meet External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj at Hyderabad House at 7.30 p.m. for talks on issues of mutual interest to the two countries.

He will depart for Bhutan on Wednesday (October 28) at 11.55 a.m. (ANI)
