Mumbai, June 21: Reacting to the ‘Thackeray Jodo’ campaign initiated by Shiv Sainiks to unite estranged cousins Raj and Uddhav Thackeray, Deputy Chief Minister and former Sena leader Chhagan Bhujbal today wished it luck.
“It is good if Uddhav and Raj come together. No one would think that cousins should be parted or the party to be divided,” Bhujbal told reporters here.
Sena leaders have started the campaign to bring together Sena executive chief Uddhav Thackeray and MNS chief Raj.
“I was in touch with both the cousins when they parted ways and my best wishes are with the campaign,” the Deputy Chief Minister said.
The campaign was initiated after Marathi votes were divided between Sena and MNS during last Assembly polls, Satish Walanju, managing the campaign, said.
