Bhopal (Pervez Bari): Madhya Pradesh Home and Jail Minister Babulal Gaur has said that Bhopal police is inspiring others by imparting education to out of school children on premises of police stations. He said that this innovation of DIG Dr. Raman Singh Sikarwar is a model on community service.
Gaur was inaugurating children’s informal school Bal Sanjeevni Kendra on premises of Govindpura police station here today. Gaur sanctioned Rs.25,000/- to the centre.
Former Mayor Mrs. Krishna Gaur said that after Hanumanganj police station, second such school has been opened on premises of Govindpura police station to connect out of school children with education. Corporators assured of necessary funds and cooperation to the school. At Bal Sanjeevni Counselling Centre, children of police station area not attending schools are imparted education. After learning children’s interest in education, they are admitted in classes as per their age.
Gaur interacted with children present at the inaugural function. IG Yogesh Choudhary, DIG Dr. Raman Singh Sikarwar, SP Anshuman Singh and Arvind Saxena, former Mandi president Bhagirath Patidar, corporators Kewal Mishra, Hari Shankar Mishra, Sanjay Verma, T.R.
