Bhopal: A recent incident has been reported from Madhya Pradesh where a 14-yr-old teenager was brutally beaten for stealing by bank officials.
According to the sources, the incident took place on Monday in Bhind. Though Police officials were present in the bank during the incident they did not stop the bank officials from beating the suspected boy.
As can be seen in the video the 14-year-old victim is brutally thrashed by the officials and also dragged down the stairs. The victim is seen crying denying the allegation but the officials seem to pay a deaf ear to him.
The incident happened when a customer who came to deposit Rs.7lakhs said someone has ripped his bag but later realized his money is safe.
This victim boy simply seemed to be present at the wrong time and the officials suspected him of stealing the customer’s money. They kept thrashing him and dragged him downstairs pulling the boy by his hands.
A police constable arrived the scene but did not care to intervene.
The Police are now investigating the matter after the incident was reported to the media. So far no action has been taken against the officials.
