Nandyal MLA Bhooma Nagireddy, who had deserted YSRCP a few months ago, today alleged that YS Jaganmohan Reddy launched the Jala Deeksha for political gain and to corner Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday Bhooma said one side YSRCP MLAs were getting sub-contracts from the Telangana government on the other Jagan launched Jala Deeksha to put Chandrababu Naidu in an embarrassing situation. The people of Kurnool district were expressing surprise over Jagan’s politically motivated Jala deeksha, Nagireddy said.
Bhooma Nagireddy said Jaganmohan Reddy has launched the so-called Jala Deeksha without even informing his partymen of Kurnool district. This clearly shows that Jagan’s Deeksha is a mere political drama, he said and warned Jagan not to take Chandrababu Naidu’s tolerance for granted. (NSS)
