Bhimavaram Congress MLA P. Ramanjaneyulu today joined TDP in the presence of party president N Chandrababu Naidu.
Ramanjaneyulu was elected from Bhimvaram in West Godavari district in 2009. He resigned from the party in protest against bifurcation of the state. It is learnt that Ramanajaneyulu got assurance from Naidu that he would be fielded from his constituency in general elections.
Another leader Palla Srinivas from Visakhaptnam also joined the TDP. Former minister Ganta Srinivas and others were present. (NSS)
