Bhatti asks CM why he fielded five TRS men for MLC polls

Hyderabad: Telangana CLP Leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday posed two questions to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao as to why he fielded five candidates for MLC elections despite knowing the fact that he did not have enough strength to win them.

Noting that the Congress has enough numbers to win one MLC seat, he demanded that the Chief Minister answer the people of the state the reasons behind fielding the fifth candidate. He also asked weather it was correct for the CM to induce Opposition party MLAs as he was in power. He also wanted to know whether the CM would solve the problems of the constituencies represented by the Opposition MLAs if they joined the ruling TRS party.

Addressing the media here, Bhatti wondered whether the CM would release water from the Nagarjuna sagar left canal if they join his party. He also said it was the Congress which protected the rights of the tribals of the State by introducing a strong Forest Protection Act. He also alleged that the Chief Minister was encouraging defections from Congress to ensure the victory of his party. Bhatti also warned the TRS leaders to change their language and added that they would not keep quiet if the ruling party leaders continued their abusive language against them.
