With the announcement of direct foreign investment in retail sector it seems that the foreign companies are rushing towards Indian market.
America’s largest company Walmart launched its wholesale cash and carry outlet in the city on Wednesday. With this the number of outlets of Bharti Walmart, the joint venture between Bharti Enterprises and Walmart Stores Inc, spread across India reached to 18.
The store opened at Attapur road with a cost of 40 crore rupees, will make available everything under one roof right from meat to vegetables. The store spread over an area of 53000 sqft employs 200 local workers of which only 7 are Muslims.
