New Delhi, January 22: Bharat Forge Ltd Saturday posted a massive 117.45 percent increase in its net profit at Rs.82.61 crore during the third quarter ending Dec 31, 2010 as against Rs.37.99 crore during the same period last fiscal.
The group has posted a profit after tax of Rs.73.29 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs.25.23 crore for the quarter ended Dec 31, 2009, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The total income of the group increased from Rs.822.5 crore for the quarter ended Dec 31, 2009 to Rs.1,235.25 crore for the quarter ended Dec 31, 2010.
At the Bombay Stock Exchange, the shares of the company closed up 1.48 percent at Rs.349.15.
