Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said that Bhadrachalam temple in Khammam district will be developed on par with Yadadri temple in Nalognda district.
At a review meeting followed by a power point presentation that explained about Bhadrachalam temple, its facilities, KCR asked the officials to prepare a plan to develop it. He said that an action plan of development should be developed for all such temples, including Dharmapuri and Kaleshwaram and others falling on the banks of river Godavari flowing from Basara in Adilabad to Bhadrachalam in Khammam district, KCR stated. Besides giving priority for expansion of facilities, the Chief Minister asked the officials to prepare new designs for construction of spacious premises enabling the devotees get darshan in a hassle-free manner.
The Chief Minister also asked for a study to provide better amenities and developing existing roads near temples as mada streets, spacious cottages for accommodating devotees, developing Mahalakshmi temple and Andal temple, Parnashala, Chitrakuta Mandap and Jathayuvu Mandap. Temple priests, technical chief, Agama pandits and officials should chalk out a plan taking inputs from China Jeeyar Swamy, he said. KCR also said he will make a visit to Bhadrachalam for necessary changes like beautification with gardens and lush greenery after Sri Rama Navami Utsavalu to make it temple city like Yadadri. (NSS)
