London : Though Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ has made quite loud noise soon after its release; the album can be up for an ‘Emmy.’
Since the visual album premiered on April 23, even though it was only available for 27 hours, it’s still eligible for an Emmy, reports the Mirror.
Reportedly, HBO confirmed that it planned to submit the superstar’s project for consideration in the ‘Variety Special category.’
Lemonade features 12 new songs, including the previously announced Formation, and is the first new music the singer has released since the surprise drop of her eponymous album in 2013.
It’s her second visual album, and following in the footsteps of 2013’s Beyonce, she premiered a short film made up of a collection of videos corresponding to each song. (ANI)
